Weapon banding in US airports

When I heard over 7.5 million banded weapons have been confiscated at American airports I was shocked!  Not only do I completely agree that these items should have been confiscated, but each person carrying, hiding or transporting these items should not be allowed to fly for a year.  Also each person should be fined $1000.00, plus have their name placed in public record for up to 5 years.

I value my privacy, but I value my families lives more, lock 'em up!
