Stock Market Still ripping the little guy off! |

12/10/2003
I looked at my stocks last night setting nicely around $10.89 a share, I own 2000 shares, things couldn't seem nicer. Then I went to bed, around 8:50 AM I received a call from my brother asking if I had looked at my stock lately? "Yes, why?" "Its at $6.40, it took a big drop last night." Well, how could this be, it was at $10.89 and the stock market was closed?
So here again, the little guy can't trade after hours, so when EMC gave NENG bad news, which only comes while we're sleeping, the big guys immediately got the news and sold, in the mean time; I'm sleeping. It's not just that they get the news faster (unfair inside trading) it's that I couldn't have traded if I did get it. So now; if I sell, they'll buy it at the $6.00 figure, which is within hours of when they sold at $10.00. That means I loss my $4.00 a share ($8000.00) while they calmly pickup the cash and life goes on. Is this fair? B.S.!
All the little people should start their own stock market and keep the playing field even for all. What their doing may be legal, but it's not fair!
