Sammy Sosa.  Hero to zero with one swing of the cork bat!

How in the world and why in the world would Sosa use a cork filled bat?  Obviously his latest batting slump has caused Sammy mental problems.

Ya, ya, I know, it was an accident.

Worse then the cork bat is that a few of the managers have stated things like,

    "Do you think Sammy would have used a cork bat just to hit it out to the pitcher?"  <- Moron coach statement.

    "There's no Saints out there!"

    "Lots of ball players do things that bend the rules a little."

    "What's the difference between the cork bat and the pitcher that might have a little stuff on his fingers?"

    "If you're not cheating, you're not playing hard enough!"

I for one, think this is just another example of how, when it comes to sports, coaches, team owners and parents been their ethics and mess up our young people by telling them it's ok to cheat.  "Just play the game to win!  Nothing else really matters!"
