Hi my name is ______ and i feel like i have to give my veiw on racism. Well im a 17 year old african american but yet i have experienced racism to the fullest. Well i come from the great state of Georgia and for most of my life i have went to mostly black schools, but the racism didnt start until middle school. I was in the 7th grade and a wonderful girl named Jessie came to our school. Well i was at lunch and she came into the cafeteria and stood by me and looked up( i was 5'11 and she was 5'3) and started smiling. I didn't really pay attention to the fact that she was white because im not like that. So that day we got together and started dating. Well all the people in my school started making fun of us saying i had "jungle fever" and started putting her down. So i did the only logical thing a 12 year old could do and that was make her wanna dump me so i had to ignore her so shed get tired of me. It didnt go as i planed but it worked. She left the school heart broken and i ended up being the school jerk. Now im living in Florida and its not as bad here. I have another girlfriend whom is white also. Her name is _____ and she's cool but very ill-tempered. But anyway now that im going with her some of the black girls at my school are asking "what do you want with that girl?" and they give her nasty looks. The white boys at my school act like their ready to fight me but i doubt that (Im 6'6 280 pounds). So im trying to ignore this but im slowly getting irritated. Then the white teachers at this school act nice sometimes then when when a black kid makes them mad they'll say" i can't stand you people." Now that really irritates me! So I'm thinking as long as i have god and my girl ill be fine cause even my parents dont really agree with me going with courtney and hers feel the same. So sometimes i wish i could go back in time and erase racism but i dont know if thats possible... it probably will be in the next 100 years but no time soon.
