Pete Rose admits betting on baseball.

email@PublicIssue.org
After 17 years of lying, Pete Rose has finally confessed he gambled on baseball.  In return for his new found honesty, Pete feels baseball should forgive him for all his past sins.  After all, the fans should accept him for the great athlete he was?

I personally don't think Pete Rose had a problem with gambling, his problem is that he thinks the world owes him something just because he was a great baseball player and I use the term "great" loosely.  I for one, don't think anyone in sports, public service or elsewhere should think their better than anyone else and they certainly shouldn't be treated any better.

If Pete Rose is suppose to be symbol of sportsmanship, integrity and honor, I'll quit watching baseball, people like Pete make me sick of professional sports.
