Dear Public Issue, I was searching on the internet because I felt I was mislead. And I found your web site with and article regarding Internet Treasury Chest. Let me explain what happened. I tried the service of Internet Treasury Chest company 2 years ago. I thought that I cancelled my account with them and I have not received any communication from them for about 15 months. I thought that everything is OK. But 4 days ago I got an invoice via e-mail that my card was charged 2 months!! earlier in September with 17 moths hosting fees and 2 periods of late fees. I contacted Internet Treasury Chest and their hosting company replied that since their system did not show any cancellation and I cannot show any proof of it either, this fee was legal. I have to tell you that I believed that I cancelled the account with this company. But if I made any error during the cancellation causing not canceling my account it is still very strange why the company waited 15 months or so to charge and bill me. If they just had sent an e-mail to me at that time (15 months ago) saying that they could not charge my card and something was wrong with it (they said in their recent response to my e-mail that they tried charged my card 15 months ago but it was declining) or had charged my card 15 months ago and had sent me an e-mail invoice on it, I could have had an opportunity to notice the error in cancellation and I could have immediately remedied it, saving money and headache now. Well this is the brief description of my case and if you could help me what to do I would appreciate it very much.
