Are guns for school employees a good idea?

My answer is "NO!"  I watched Hard Ball with Chris Matthews (Chris Matthews it the host that asks is guest questions but never lets them have time to answer.)  Anyways, as Chris talked about possible State legislation allowing school employees to carry a concealed firearm, I cringed.  The proponents said it would detour would-be students from attempting to shut anyone if they weren't sure if the teacher had a gun or not.  I for one don't like the idea a teacher going nuts and shutting one of the kids.  After all, if you didn't have access to a gun, you couldn't shut anyone.
