Freedom of speech?

Freedom of speech is a great thing, but is it really ok to tell the enemies every move we make in our efforts to fight terrorism?  The other day CNN was broadcasting to the world about new leads of Bin Laden where-a bouts.  Is Bin Laden really just going to stay put and wait for us to capture him?
