What has Bill Gates done for you lately?

Is it fair for a company, any company, to sell products that really aren't ready?  Why is it that Microsoft seems to have continuously sold and distributed countless products with numerous Bugs and compatibility issues only to offer very little support (try getting in touch with someone at Microsoft?)

Could you sell a product like Windows, Outlook, FrontPage or BOB and offer little or no support?

What about all the late updates and patches?  How many times have you had to spend countless hours looking for curs, remedies and fixes for a Microsoft product you just installed or updated?  Only AOL could get away with this kind of behavior!
