Arnold's last minute announcement that he will be running for governor of California.

On the Jay Leno show tonight (08/07/2003) and contrary to what we have been hearing all day about Arnold Schwarzenegger not running for governor; Arnold announced he will be running for governor of California and plans to win.  Arnold also told Jay's audience; none one will be paying him off; "I have enough money," "plenty of it" and Arnold also will not be working for any special interest group as he claims Governor Gray Davis does.  In my opinion; Arnold sounded much like the politicians he said he wasn't going to be like and he already is bashing Democrat Governor Gray Davis.  It's strange to think Arnold is a Republican while his wife is a Democrat.  Will Arnold be able to hold up to the pressures, especially when Arnold couldn't play his role as American health leader for President Clinton.  Remember Arnold's picture with the cigar hanging out of his mouth?
