email to AitDomains
We have contacted you regarding the following issue in the past. To date, we have received no response or action:
My company had contracted Aitdomains.com to host approximately 30 websites at what AitDomains claimed were secure servers. During the time we used their service we experienced numerous occasions where we had to re-install Front Page extensions (over 50 times.) Each time their servers lost the extensions we would lose all use of email and submittal forms from our customers, obviously costing our company both money and customer response. Eventually, one or our web sites, PublicIssue.org was defaced by a hacker, and profanity was plastered throughout its home page, not to mention all existing web pages were deleted. When we called AitDomains, we were told they would compensate us for our loss of time and money or reconstruct the site. After repeated calls and emails we received an email stating AitDomains would only communicate with our service through an attorney. Obviously after receiving other complaints regarding their service, we moved our sites elsewhere, where we remain to this day. We are not asking for compensation at this time, but we are demanding AitDomains send a refund for the balance of our service that they illegally extracted from our credit card. In addition, AitDomains claimed we sign a contact which allowed them to charge additional expenses if we moved to another host, even if it were their lack of security, maintenance and failure to keep current backups as they claimed they had. We have repeated asked AitDomains to send us a copy of this contract, which they refused, we have asked proof of notice and a time when their service had changed their policies, again, AitDomains refused. We need you to contact AitDomains and resolve this issue. Your service claims we should contact you regarding such issues. So what do you do with the information? JT/ MI 8/14/2003 |
